Fata/BIC (1). A mild razor requiring some pressure and attention to angle but ultimately an excellent shave. Sharp BIC is a good match. Results better than my last LC shaves but it could just be the marvelous silver plate having its way with me.[IMG]

A lovely way to end the working week. The DeHaven has been steadily moving up the pecking order and the Mixed Midget has established itself as the favourite of my small brushes.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

Awesome looking set up. Are the contents of the Veg original? If so, hows it compare to current offerings?

Maiden voyage for my newly acquired John & Wm Ragg Napoleon. Lovely all the way around. Nice double jimps, sharp and smooth, easy to maneuver in all the difficult places, and dressed up in ivory. A keeper for sure. :love055:

A special shout out for the Castle & Forbes Lavender. It’s one of the first shaving creams I bought and I’ve been rationing it over the years. Excellent lather and aroma but it’s almost gone - now I just need to find a sale.

WK is EXPENSIVE.....it better be worth the price!(Course I'd say the same about Bill Neumann-Wm. Neumann Soaps-but you get twice the amount of soap). The brush is a beauty.

WK does have quality products and yes CPS is better value with Neumann which I also like very much. Had this brush 6 years now and a great brush.

    SATURDAY'S SHAVE

    Bath Soap:
Better Bath Better Body Frankincense Scented Arthritis Soak Bath Salt
    Wet Shaving Products - Sandalwood

    Razor - Edwin Jagger "Kelvin"
    Blade - [IMG] *Fresh Blade
Shave Brush - Vigshaving Nylon Synthetic
    Pre-shave Oil - Lather & Wood "unscented"
Shave Soap - Gold Dachs Sandelholz
Aftershave - Fine Classic "Santal Absolut"
Post-Shave Balm - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "Mysterium Serum"
Deodorant - Sam's Natural "Oak Moss"
    Fragrance - Creed Viking

This should be a very enjoyable bath/shave. The mug soap is a fun change-up.

***EDIT - The shave soap was MUCH improved today by taking extra time loading from the hard-soap puck. Loading from hard soap takes more effort and time. The lather came out more stable, more protective and I decided not to use pre-shave oil just to experiment. I got a great shave. 1-pass against the grain patterns of my beard + 2 extensive cleanup passes. I overdid just one spot on my neck and used a puff of baby powder on it and that made the redness go away. This was a great shave today.

Well now-you have the Creed Viking! I've been looking at that one for a while now.
