43 - 45 wartime civilian production 3pc Tech. That is the retail packaging. The military razors came in plain boxes with numbers relating to the military contract it was produced for.

Will do. If that set is all original those blades will tell me exactly what year since the box is unopened. It looks like the razor is slightly or never used.

I've only recently embraced Sandalwood. Have you sampled many? Since you are waiting for this to arrive - have you tried many and have a current favorite? If you've tried it do any compare to Proraso Red SS & AS?

Haven't tried that many Sandalwood soaps/creams or aftershaves but my top one is the NOS Art of Shaving Sandalwood soap. Have not tried Proraso Red so cant comment or compare but have tried AOS Sandalwood cream, Taylor of Bond Street cream a pretty good one, Lather & Wood was pretty good from what I remember. Bought it years ago, couple of shaves then brother in law lifted it. Captain Choice sandalwood and AS, tried sample didn't like. As for aftershaves, Meehan's Sandalwood is the best but pricy. Only other AS I have is Chatillon Lux Santal Auster is pretty good and Extro Sandalo.

Old type not sure the date yet since I haven't seen the serial on it but should be somewhere between 1914 - 1917. What makes it different is it has a G stamp on the base.

I was just informed that a refund was issued to my PayPal. I asked the seller why, and she told me that due to a death in the family she wasn't going to dig through boxes to find items. I'm not thrilled about missing out on the lot, but I do understand.

I said screw it and ordered a WCS Silvertip, 1 - I'm not waiting until I get my tax refund back, 2 - I don't feel like spending over $100 for a brush. What can I say, the older I get the more frugal I get, . And a razor stand from Maggards. I'm done for hardware. Software is all I should really need from now on. Shave on Ladies and Gents.
