Had a rediculously busy weekend, and forgot to post Saturday and sundays shaves. Gillette oc with jayaruh handle Pol silver blade courtesy of @Primotenore Jayaruh 147 R4L soap and after shave Had two polar opposite shaves this weekend, maybe since this is the first use of the pol silver blades, or perhaps I’m rusty on my de technique. Saturday’s shave did not go that well I had quite a few weepers on my neck and jawline, but they quit bleeding after a cold water rinse. The good part was I did have a close shave, and when I applied the aftershave there was a long stream of profanities. But Sunday’s shave went quite a bit better only a few weepers and little burn from the as. I am going to give this setup another go tonight, since Sunday’s shave was quite a better I’m choking up the bad experience to using bad technique which is the most likely culprit.

That brush handle looks really cool as well. Awesome, Mark! What is left? 4 shaves tops? I think it has just been a bit since you used a DE, Paul. You’ll have it dialed in quickly, I am sure.
February Favorites February 25 Razor - Gillette New SC Deluxe Blade - Soap - Stirling Black Ice Brush - Jayaruh #46 Post - Alum Couldn't resist. One more round for Matthew the formerly haunted, now shiny and happy razor. I went back to Stirling with the Black Ice. It's like having candy for a treat. Smells like the room is full of black licorice, a personal favorite of mine, and it produces the usual Stirling lather. Three passes with the Sharpstar in the New SC and I'm as smooth as a baby's butt and settled in behind the computer for the night. Busy day but got lots done. Tomorrow I have some delivery work to do and then just down time after that. Should be a good way to "end" my week before Wednesday. Have a great day tomorrow!
After buying a veddy veddy nice E2 and some D.R. Harris Arlington SS from @jtspartan I realized I could have a all from him shave. I used my 30DC brush and a Boosters Polar Ice sample he sent. Outstanding shave! The E2 is just a super razor.
Need a little help too. My boss wants to get her husband a straight to play with. Anyone know of someone selling a decent shave ready? Probably round tip with it being a newbiem
