Went on a little bit of a spree ......

a Century brush


Has some nice lines and the price was right.


a Hardright duster brush NOS ... and I've wanted one for a while


A little polishing and lettering with the usual cleaning and it'll be ready for use.


A Japanese Aida razor ... couldn't refuse the price.




Of the three, I paid the most on the Hardright and that was a price I could definitely live with. I'm pretty happy.

 

that razor is the tech clone down to the brit style ball end handle...

 

Very true, but not the price of the clone that rhymes with leather. Some people say it’s not a clone, but if walks like a duck, talks like a duck it’s a clone.

Hopefully the return trip is less eventful than the trip to Chris where it got lost for almost two weeks.

Another Impoverished Patrician...

It looks to be a '48-'49 since the Pat Nos are on the "Package". This is the same as my other Impoverished Patrician but this one doesn't seem to have any obvious bends.

 

I just made myself very poor for the next week and a half...

 

Did you just snag that one off of E-bay? I thought I noticed that one about 30 minutes and I said someone will snag it up and quick. Beautiful razor and congratulations!

 

Waiting for a tub of Castle Forbes Lime that is about 85% full from a forum member. USPS says it was supposed to be delivered today but has now changed it to show that it is late. No updated date of delivery.
