  1. Very nice set up there. Should be a great month! Techs are often overlooked but are one of the outstanding razors from their era.
  2. Awesome!

  3. GRAHH! Firefox updated without my permission. Now I can't get a Quote to happen. If anyone else notices this, let me know and I'll bring it up with @sparky5693. I could see a trail of Reflections in shiny objects > Russian Visitors > Making a few Rubles on the side connections.

On the upside the granddaughters scored approximately 2.25 square pizza feet of shiny beads, plastic cups, & small wrapped single candies at the first parade of the Mardi Gras season. There're at least one and sometimes several more every day through Fat Tuesday. My favorite is the Krewe of Barkus (pet) parade tomorrow afternoon.
  4. A year already? Glad you found us and especially glad we didn't scare you away! As for the enabling we have done......you're welcome. Who needs money when you can have cool shaving stuff instead, eh?

  5. I didn't "forget" it. I looked at that one and the Rapira. Not saying one or the other won't show up this month - but I've never thought of them as "mild".

  8. Ouch! Great looking shave and I know it wasn't from the soap not being slick enough. Clearly the Cobra was cranky.

  9. I'm not sure - but I think I see a potential CT or two in that sentence alone! @Queen of Blades might want to scan that one.

  10. While I appreciate the thought of the Cartel - CT is still Custom Title. I suppose CCT would be Custom Cartel Title. Now I'm confused.

  11. Seems like business is changing faster than anyone can keep up with anymore. Good luck and hope all is well.

  12. It is urgent. It is always urgent. Come on, you know you want to know. You need to know. You MUST know. How am I doing......a new type of enabling I'm working on.

  13. When you see that seat - and that gear shifter - and realize that we all rode bikes like or similar to that -it's a miracle that any of us ever had kids.........know what I mean? :scared001:

  14. How could you possibly say more stupid stuff?! :happy097: Ok, ok, I'm just kidding!!!! I miss the glittery unicorn strippers too. If you happen to talk to Jared tell him the place is less colorful without him!

  15. The Cartel provides a stipend to cover his costs.
  16. Enough to keep Borscht on the table, anyway.
  17. That's a very nice look.

  18. Well we deliver free cookies and vodka, so as long as you have Borscht - we figure you're good.

  19. Wow, that brings back memories.

I brought a 'Pea Picker' new in 1971 for $101 that I saved from my newspaper route. My dad was having a fit that anyone would spend more than $40 on a bicycle.

The Schwinn Krate Stingrays were awesome to behold. They were built like tanks, but horrible to ride. As if the heft of the Schwinn build wasn't enough, add in the drum brake springer front end, seat shocks, fenders, and add-ons made it like riding a steel vault. The suspension seemed to add to the pedal burden.

Sold it before I got married for about $75. It was in great a shape, wish I would have kept it.

I think the gubbament ended sales on the originals because the gear shifter position was threatening males of the species. Schwinn had a re-release of the Krates years later with 5-speed internal hub gearing or 1-speed coaster brake that eliminated the cool stik-shifter. There may have been other limited edition releases. I think a rear disk brake was added the last year.

I don't remember a blue color offered originally, I recall yellow, red, orange, green, white, and gray.

    Be well!

  20. Yup, already been a year. I stumbled upon a great place and the people who make it great.
