  1. She's a keeper, Terry!

  3. Thanks Perry! I am really enjoying my shaves. I am a lot looser when I use the straight. It also helps that I finally have my stubble mapped so that I have a plan of attack. Although I have been getting excellent shaves with straights, I believe that I have turned the corner to say that I can hit the mastery level.
  4. They are not the smoothest blade in the house but this one doesn't seem bad. I suspect their quality control may not be the tightest as I've had the same experience with Lord branded blades. Not the best but some are better than others. And since Lord makes them, that would make sense.
  5. Very cool, Perry. In my book, it's a DE razor with a sideways handle. Or maybe an apple peeler. I'd be concerned about maintaining a sure grip with the small diameter handle. I could wrap the handle, though, and it would be fine. I look forward to your impressions. Geo did an on-line review if you are interested.
  6. Thanks Perry!
  7. "Have you tried turning it off & back on?" Easy fix, all better. I have WIN7 on a short leash. It asks for permission. Firefox does as it pleases and usually functions well.
Stick in the Mud-ism. I've found several Mozilla Add-Ons that serve my purposes. Using an Android phone and GMail already has lots of my eggs in the Google basket. See The Circle.

  9. Thanks, Charlie. I've watched a couple of Geo's videos. The razor is much heavier than it looks. The handle will be interesting and I'll make sure my hands are very dry with no soap residue to make it slippery.
  10. Here's a saying I have about change:

When businesses have to make a change
It means they fouled up with their last change.
And they made THAT change because
they fouled up with the change before that.
