Saturday SOTD I debated, but ended up pulling out the Gem Jr Parade Handle razor with matching Gem leather travel case. I don't know how common or uncommon this case is - I've never seen others posted like it and couldn't find anything online regarding it when I purchased it here in PA last year. (If anyone has any info regarding the case, let me know). Also, the fact that a PA guardsman kept his ID card inside just makes it that much more special to me being a USAF veteran. I paired the razor with my USAF JR #28 fan badger brush. As it was shave #7 with the Gem SS blade, it wasn't quite as smooth shaving, not that a Gem Jr is the smoothest of the Gems - but it wasn't uncomfortable in any way. Little feedback from the alum and Clubman and I am smooth and refreshed for the Saturday. I paired the shave with my vintage Timex Automatic military watch.
