Sometimes subtle enabling doesn't work, and you gotta go straight for the throat. Even Charlie @wristwatchb hasn't been able to get Danny @Hembree to order a Karve yet. And, Charlie is the master of enabling.
No worries, there was more admiration than judgement in my comment Bruce. Besides, everyone has a Karve. Not sure why Danny isn’t one of the “cool kids”.
Thank you, Charlie! Never did I expect the Parker to be such a joy to use. It's also an excellent enforcer of technique. The community has been very generous with me, so I'm more than happy to help others get started down the path. And, I think there's another guy on the hook wanting to give it a try. This guy just turned 25 yesterday, but he's such an old soul. Always wears the green Dickies pants, doesn't have a computer - or even a TV. He was very inquisitive about traditional wet shaving, and said he'd like to try it. It brings joy to my heart when others are willing to give it a go - even if they don't want to make it into a hobby. Awhile back, I got two other friends started. For them it hasn't become a hobby - however they still choose to shave with DE razors over carts. That's a win enough.

Excellent shave to start the day! Three passes with touch up, silent alum. I find the S1 to be very smooth but I do need to add some touch up to achieve the desired results.
