Rick, I hope your Dad is doing well. I'm glad you all are enjoying Mardi Gras. That sounds like the equivalent of Derby season here in my neck of the woods. Always something going on.
Thanks Bruce. I like bay rum, so that part is easy. Got home early, sandalwood is on deck for Monday. Also a Gary (Brit) inspired Gillette 1906, with a Feather blade loaded and ready. tp
Yes they are!! Years ago we had a 400 ft tower painted. Well, the tower was finished and had some paint left over about 10 gallons. So they gave it to one of the locals. He lived on a road called polecat hollow. If you haven't figured it out by now, he painted his whole house, aviation orange, trimmed in white. I didn't have phones to take pictures then, but it looked awful. Funny as heck. tp
Actually, the most important food group is Girl Scout Cookies. Samoas, to be exact. However, covered in ice cream, you would create a combination so wonderful and unbelievably good, that the economies in several medium sized countries would collapse as people sold all they had to obtain such a food. I'm not sure where that takes this argument. I just know that my Girl Scout Cookies were delivered today and my attention is a bit occupied.
You have chosen to be a part of this group, thereby proving your intelligence. Ummmmm........let me rethink that for a second..............oh, nevermind.
March Madness!! March 3 Razor - Edwin Jagger DE89l Blade - (3) Soap - Oleo Soapworks El Caballero Brush - Stirling 24mm Finest Badger Fan Post - Alum One more shave with the EJ and Big Ben. I grabbe3d the El Caballero from Oleo and got a great lather using the Stirling badger. No complaints about either soap or brush. The blade is getting louder with each shave but still provided a smooth enough three passes to not create any issues. Not quite BBS but it's definitely good enough for a Sunday night. My weekend is here so I'm just happy to be able to say that. Would I buy Big Ben in bulk? Nope. Would I be content to shave with them if I was stranded and they were the only blade I could find? No problem. Same for the razor. The EJ isn't the world's most aggressive or expensive, but it does a very fine job. And it looks good too! Have a great Monday!
