  1. A while back, I sent @9nein9 a box of Gem SE razors because they did not spark joy in me. I joked that he should keep me in mind if he came across any interesting British or Canadian Tech razors. Yesterday, I received this by way of a thank you:

    A very nice post-War Canadian Tech (a version that I did not have), a puck of Canadian-packaged Williams (probably the same as current US Williams but in a cooler box), and a mostly Russian blade sampler which included what appears to be a NOS Gillette Super Blue Blade made in Canada.

    The Tech is interesting in that there is no date code and the cap has a frosted logo, but not a frosted border like the later caps. If it were a US Tech, I'd figure on it being early post-War, probably between 1947 and 1949.

    Thank you again, Patrick!

  2. Same Williams, just different box, figured you didnt have one of those. I believe the date code for that razor came stamped on the original blade for it. That one says U3. Glad you like it.
  3. And those have one side.
  4. That is awesome!!
    @9nein9 is just good people!
  5. Found this Erskine this past week, it's massive. I think it was actually a neck duster since the knot is 30mm. I plan on adding one of Maggards 30mm SHD fan knots and filling the handle with epoxy to give it some more heft. Should clean up nicely.

  19. Believe it or not I just wanted the de-plated Stahly but I got two '54 flare tips, a funky New Improved, a quite decent '62 Slim, a Goodwill 160, and I'm guessing a pretty rare 49 Executive case in pretty good nick. Not pictured an Autostrop I need to figure out how to clean up. Anybody giving away an Executive?

    A couple of vintage American made slants
    slants.jpg

    The Krects were made from 1936 - 49?, the Ziglar was made 57 or later.
    Left is a Krect Spiral slant made from 1936 - ??
    Middle is a Krect Curve slant made for sure in 48 and 49, how much earlier I don't know
    Right is a Ziglar, these were made no earlier than 57 since that is the date for the patent on the baseplate
