  1. SOTD March 5, 2019

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick G1
Brush: Ever Ready 100T restored badger
    Soap: Country Club Cahaba Blues
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco Bay Leaf aftershave

Wonderful shave, much more comfortable than with yesterday's Razorine. I think I may be done with that trial and will just send it on its way. Smooth and comfortable today all around. I'm going to use the Cahaba Blues a good bit to try and finish it off. It's close but probably has at least six shaves left, maybe more like 10. We'll see. It'll be up again on Thursday.

Partial day at school so I can leave early and help one of our middle school bands with their music assessment performance this afternoon. You work up three pieces of music to a very high level and perform them for a set of judges. It's called Music Performance Assessment. Our middle school goes two times this week and my groups go a week from today. High stress time for us at the moment! But I guess it always is. Take it all in stride.

    Have a great day!

  2. Good luck with listing the house, Charlie. I know it is exciting to move, but actually moving isn't much fun.

  3. Charlie, we are listing our house in about three weeks. We did most of the work this past summer and listed but it didn't work out and we took it off the market. So we're cleaning and packing and organizing a little bit each day. There's a lot to go through. Amazing how much stuff accumulates over time. Anyway, good luck with your efforts!

  5. If you have a moment, please keep my wife, Alice, in your prayers. She had a small in-office procedure yesterday that was more painful than we both anticipated. She is fine but dealing with some pain and inconvenience that was unexpected. I appreciate all of you!

  6. I'll be praying for you, Charlie. Hopefully it is nothing. I get to experience the Scope this spring as well. Always fun.:shocked003:

  7. Neal, that razor is quite different. I would guess you would have to use your five fingers to get a secure grip.

Good luck as well selling the house, when the time comes. Sounds like you have a solid game plan to make things easier and less stressful.
Glad to see you're still going strong with the Parker. Yep, every so often it feels the need to humble you - and let you know that it's boss.
