  10. Good morning fellas! I just ended my morning shave. I was in a hurry this morning so my shave was not error free. Surprise! Surprise! After finishing on the fabric, I turned to the leather and cut my finger. I was careless and not cognizant of the blade's position. This was a foreboding sign. The razor that I used was my Herder. On to the shave, did 2 passes using VDH luxury soap applied by my Semogue OC badger. On the last past, I nicked my upper lip and chin. Applied witchazel and styptic pencil. Ended with Clubman AS. Cuts were still bleeding so I put Vaseline as my last line of defense. I have to say the Vaseline worked wonders because the cuts do not look bad considering. Anyway, I didn't do neck touchups because I mind as well quit while I am somewhat ahead. The shave was IBSS. Moral: Don't shave immediately when you just wakeup and are in a hurry. You are just asking for a shave that is less than perfect.

Hope you guys have a better start than I did this morning. Have a great day!

  12. Maybe the sound from the "singing" hollow grind also adds to the perception?
