    My rubric:
    B - DFS with 2 cuts.
    C - Didn't complete the shave because you had to go to ER for stitches

    D - Didn't complete the shave because of very large cuts on the neck and face that requires stitches.

    F - You shouldn't be straight shaving because you will slit your throat.

    Yes, considering the ways in which a Chinese razor could be expected to fail, this one (if anything) fails to the overly mild side.

    And it came with a razor storage box which has a shelf life of "Indefinite"! :)

    I can get away with a full three passes on my neck which still doesn't get the hollows completely smooth. My face I can get BBS on most days. If I miss BBS on my face it's my right jaw. I have a really coarse patch of whiskers there that takes a considerable amount of buffing to knock down.

    Hmm, it doesn't look like the typical gold wash of the era and it doesn't look like a re-plate. Are there any places on the razor where the plating has worn off ?

    Well Andrew I'll check and see when I get home. Others here would know more about it than I. I haven't looked at it to well, I like the way it shaves, so the look is not that importaint to me. Let ya know what I figure out, if anything.
