  1. I use it as the starting point, I then increase the angle until I get what I want.

  4. We saw Herman's Hermits in an outdoor concert once, and we had a blast. Everybody brought their lawn chairs and picnic baskets. Their Fan Club was there (first time I've ever seen anything like that at a concert), and they made it extra fun.

    We had season tickets that summer to the Roarchestra. This was a series of Saturday evening concerts at the Louisville Zoo. It featured the Louisville Orchestra and various other musical groups. Other favorites from those concerts were the groups America and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. The swing dancers showed up for the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy concert. Super cool music and good times!

  6. The Rex is my only adjustable. I've been running it wide open. Pinched down to 1.5 I need to pay much more attention to angle and the sound of the razor to get a close shave.

  18. March Shave Report #1

    Razor
    : Gillette New LC
    Blade: Shark Super Chrome
    Preshave: Neutrogena Skin clearing shave cream
    Lather
    : ARBAC
    Brush: Synbad Synthetic brush
    Postshave: Alum, Pacific Shaving Company Caffeinated aftershave

    Ouch the Alum doth sting...Good shave but I think my skin was still a little irritated in some areas even before the shave. The New LC is a great shaver and it's teaching me about my tendency to add pressure. Easy does it. I think I end up adding pressure in those areas where I just can't seem to find the right angle. ARBAC produces an explosive lather as usual but I could have added a bit more water I think as the glide was not as good as last time. Using the neutrogena as a preshave helps with the cushion but not so much the glide and that's where I cut myself. I wonder is shaving with cold water might work better for me. Gotta experiment some more. Happy Shave gents!

  20. That's where I start with every DE, then;
    Tip the handle until I can hear that crunchy toast, Velcro ripping sound of each hair popping. My Face Mapping is both direction of beard & planes. That first pass WTG makes all the noise then it's opposite direction trying to keep the same angles.
    Made me question why the guards are there until I saw a photo of a Stivette and the bold razor. Safety!
