  2. Maybe he meant it was a "Randy Shave". I know the Shulton Old Spice makes women "Randy". :happy108:

    Cold Water Rinse
    TSD Cool Lime
    The Brush B-3 by Tom
    Starling SE
    Gem Blue Star SE
    CWR
    Osage Rub

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The TSD Cool Lime Shaving Soap face lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom brush. I did two passes with the Starling SE razor with a Gem Blue Star SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
  4. Good photograph and setup Tim.

  10. 3C52EA17-1BA2-4085-9A0C-78C4789F1FBA.jpeg Menthol Monday:

    Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/7 AM day 5
Stirling Glacial Margaritas in the Arctic SS
    Stirling Glacial Unscented ASB
    B&M Arctique AS Splash
    Aramis EdT

Not only is my face frozen solid from this menthol assault it’s also absolutely BBS. As soon as I started lathering up with the Glacial MITA soap the freeze kicked in and got progressively stronger. The Glacial Unscented balm and the Arctique brought the freeze to another level!

    Have a great week!

  14. Sandalwood Sunday Shave of the Night - 3/10/2019
    1. Hot Shower with a Duke Cannon Old Milaukee Beer soap (smell is sandalwood & not cheap beer)
    2. ART OF SHAVING SANDALWOOD SHAVE SOAP - along with Proraso - this is sandalwood for me, and my fav. sandalwood scents. AOS shave soap is pretty awesome, seems AOS don't get much love nowadays - but it is a really slick ! love it - and the scent has power.
    3. Brush is a Muhle Travel "Synthetic Badger" different than any other synth knot i have - i really like it - it does feel like a badger - but this brush is not good for hard soaps - PERFECT for creams...
    4. PAA PRISMATIC and a Fresh SHARK blade is my favorite DE Combo - nothing smoother for my skin.
    5. FINE Sandalwood is a prefect match to the AOS sandalwood - just love it.

  15. Gillette New razor
    Gillette Spoiler blade
    Vie-Long Silver Tip brush
    Stirling MITA SS
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    Pinaud Citrus Musk cologne

Great combo resulting in a fabulous shave and my face is very happy. Now go enjoy your day folks
  16. :thanks: Douglas, it's very kind of you to say.
  17. 54 Flair Tip v 65 Krona. Prefer the feel of the Krona though the Gillette might do slightly better ATG on my head. Both are ultimately too inefficient for a daily head shaver but for my beard do well enough.[IMG]
  18. Excellent pictures and setups. Old Spice Leather looks new.

  19. Good morning Gents.

Well this was my first time using Mentholated Williams and not sure how old it is, but has a price of 10 cents on the box then marked down to 5 cents in writing. Pretty much has no aroma left in the cake but I did pick up a slight tingle of menthol when lathering up and after the shave. B4 Prairie Creations shut it doors, she had Walters Menthol which was a Williams Mentholated clone and that was a superb tallow soap. Nice refreshing menthol aroma and lathered up like no ones business. Now I have to wonder if the original Williams Menthol was similar to Walters Menthol.
