I recently acquired a similar razor as your conqueror

 

Received in a trade a very nice vintage simpsons brush. It’s a tiny brush and initially I though of flipping it but I’ve been looking for another travel brush and this one is seems perfect !

Mail call today. Debutante Gillette. Outside of case fairly bad. Inside not so bad. Slight crack in handle. Blade holder very nice.

I stopped by WSP and had a nice talk with Lee. I left with his Formula T Olympus and the matching aftershave. I've been looking for an "Aventus" style scent and his is a great interpretation. It's been a few years since I've bought any of his products but I remember them being top shelf. I purchased the larger container and transferred the soap so I have more room for my brush. I'll use it tomorrow and make a full report.

 

Must be really cool to be able to just “stop by” at WSP!

 

Had a little shopping binge over the weekend after a couple mules and looking for some soaps and a DE I’ve been wanting to get at decent prices...
This is the first half of my haul that arrived. I’m really excited about using the AS-D2S and Mo’s Mandarin Bay (talk about hard to find)!

Yes it is. Lee gave me a tour a few years ago, I got to see how he made his products. It was very interesting

 

I'm a little late, but here is some stuff.

Nice heavy SS, micarta scales. Supposed to be known for edge retention.



Been considering a shavette. This one is nice with recessed blade holder. No need to mute the blade corners. Nice weight.



I've said stupid things in the past like "mugs are for coffee". I have fully repented! Went out and got me one of them 'mug soaps' to see what the fuss was all about.



While I was at it. Not shaving related but, these were back in stock. A very ingenious little nail file thingy with all kinds of ways to smooth out the snaggers. I have one I keep at home, but wanted a second one for work because that is where I get most fingernail damage. Machined stainless. Works nice, but forget about it if you are on a budget.

 

Now that is a haul and a nice one at that!

 

The other half of it has been delivered and I’ll post a picture of the rest as I may be open to swap for other soaps I’m wanting.

Finally acquired a New Deluxe. It cost me more than I would have liked to pay but a lot less than what they've been selling for as of late.



Also bought an thin handle New Otto Roth which I believe pending using is the same shave as a New Long Comb.

 

NOS MMOC 1932 Colgate-Palmolive Set. Complete, 5 original unopened blades.

 

Talk about Minty Fresh.

Considering how fragile these boxes are it was a pretty lucky find indeed .

 

Just received my Everready 2nd Gen Streamline razor & Strop set without case and is very nice considering the age, a little brassing in the front part of the guard and I was expecting some normal wear. Sanitized & cleaned with New blade in and ready to have my shave tomorrow.
