A bit of a treat this morning, changed the blade in the Hawk for a fresh one ; those Prolines do last well, also opened up a Fresh Bowl of Spitfire. After a Shave like this I could probably settle for the Hawk as a Daily Shaver, smooth/ comfortable and a nice close all round finish. But of course I won't, in fact am away for a couple of nights staying with Sister- in -Law and officiating at an Indoor Track Meeting. Have got an Injecto- Matic packed for use in a bathroom which is not my favourite.

    Starling SE
    Gem Blue Star SE

    Stetson AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Musgo Real Shaving Soap face lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom brush. I did two passes with the Starling SE razor with a Gem Blue Star SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Stetson AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Aftershave: WSP Olympus

Fantastic shave this morning. I took my new WSP Olympus set out for its maiden shave and all I can say is WOW! This stuff is amazing. First, the scent is incredible; it starts with a fresh pineapple and apple scent that gives way to a smoky vanilla and sandalwood. Love it. It's very easy to lather and a couple swirls easily produced a ton of creamy lather. It's protective with excellent cushion and maybe the slickest soap I've ever tried, residual slickness was more than enough to buffer. This may be the best base I've ever tried. The aftershave didn't disappoint either. Same great scent and my face feels nourished. I got zero feedback from the alum. I'm glad I bought these. The Pro Guard blade was very nice, it's right up there with the Pro so far as my favorite. I'm going to keep trying a few more blades but these 2 are clearly in the lead. Have a great day folks!

Well I had my first shave with the Streamline razor and it was a good shave, very close. Started with a brand new Gem Personna SS PTFE (1) and it delivered a BBs and it's indicating a very efficient razor also. The audio on the whiskers getting chopped is very nice to hear(scraping toast) and it indicates the little rascals are still there on the second pass ATG. I did a 2 pass with a cleanup pass and it delivered what I was expecting for a shave. I had a small weeper from a pimple it sheared off like any razor would do unless a extremely mild aggression razor.

The Razor was manufactured in England and went through 2 generations and some are very rare to find like the GEM Jewel that I do not own but they do exist and this is about as close to acquiring one for now.
[IMG] A Gem Jewel, rare and can be a little expensive if you come a cross one.
    Have some great shaves!

As far as I know the only difference is the case they come in.

It's always grrrreeeat!! To rub shoulders with Greatness and our "SE & Injector Party"'s "Rich & Famous"! Lets hear a "Hip Hip Hooray" for Billy Fergie!! This cat has forgotten more about SE's and Injectors than I will probably ever know...For the Old-Timers around here, they all knew him as our librarian around here in one of our Golden Ages......

Definitely a Sandalwood Saturday. I love the scent of the Proraso Offering....and to my nose the Al Rehab Oudy is pretty close in matching the scent.
3 passed for a really excellent finish:)

It would appear that mine is a jewel???? no notch and it is in a case with a push button release on each end. Does that make it an Ambassador or are the razor and box a mismatch?

    Thanks for the info!
