Today, I got to test a power socket-wrench, in order to write a product review. It worked very well; all the moreso, since I got it for free.
Not sure how manly ... Watched four Dr Who episodes (Tom Baker) while working on a brush for TSD raffle. Gotta love my wife ... she married a dork.
Took the girls to the local Strawberry Festival, a big deal around here. Strawberries are of course excellent, the best I've ever had. A few things I learned or was reminded of about fairs... 1. Turkey legs are disappointingly overrated and way overpriced (what isn't at a carnival). 2. Dividing a piece of deep fried strawberry cheesecake with the girls was worth going off keto for a day or two. Besides, we walked for three hours straight. 3. Steak tips were also pricey but man, were they good. 4. The ferris wheel reminded me that I have a thing about heights. I could not look over the side if you put a gun to my head. And it wasn't even the biggest wheel they had going. 5. A carny asked if I wanted to buy his van. I said I was down to two bucks. He said he'd take two bucks. We kept walking. 6. They still do haunted houses but the girls wouldn't go in. 7. The oranges down here are also the best I've ever had. 8. Don't buy a $20 all day ride pass for the girls without checking first which rides she'll go on. "Too fast." "Too high." "Too spinny." "That's for babies."
There was about 1.5 feet of snow blocking my car doors after the street had been plowed. I got rid of enough of it by whacking it with my cane a few times. Had no trouble getting off the snow after that.
Last night, I shot in a club tournament (1s of 5 weeks.) My shooting was abysmal. Rather than beat myself up over it I A)laughed it off and B)figured out a new strategy to deal with the visual problems that led to my poor performance.
Here's a manly thing I did YESTERDAY-returned to the gym after missing 6 workout days. Easy does it at first, but I'll gradually get back to the usual routine. Being sick stinx.
I got pregnant wife the correct order from Taco Bell. She stated to get it right, or get cut. (She was only half serious, or at least I think)
Gee, I'm still shoveling snow. Had a nasty blizzard again. Hopefully we should be getting close to the end of winter.
May have mentioned this and don't know how manly it is, but I figured out how to use chopsticks. I think I will buy a plastic or steel pair to keep in the lunchbox, in a lot of cases it's more convenient and better suited than a fork.
Not recommending it but there is an alternative you could try. https://www.uppermichiganssource.co...medium=website&utm_content=link&ICID=ref_fark
I'm ABOUT to do a manly thing-my gym workout. I still need to build back the strength I lost from being sick TWICE this winter(colds). No, I won't be pressing 300, but I make sure each body area "moves around" well.
