Picked it up at Duluth Trading Co. while I was in the big city. My water is hard to say the least, but it came through for me. Nice strong sent I like, the big bar is hard to hold when wet but it works great here. tp
@matthewoli98 -- Chris @Bama Samurai managed to get about six months of daily shaves out of a stick of Arko, so if you have two, you're set for about a year of great shaves. I haven't heard of Bundubeard brushes but they sound interesting. The other brand your local retailer RVT carries, Omega, is well known for making some of the best boar brushes out there. I have two custom brushes that are fitted with knots from Omega Pro 49 boar brushes and they are absolutely superb.
Bundubeard is a local artisan soap supplier they make fantastic soaps at great prices too! Sent from my Redmi S2 using Tapatalk
Day 72. Time to change up. Today I called in the 1951 Mockba from the bench. Like its comrade, the Gravjura, this blade feels exceptionally smooth. To my face, at least. And quieter than its German contemporaries. Gave it three passes, and touchups with the G5. 0 irritation, but I managed a weeper with the injector. Go figure. Awesome lather from the Arctic Hydra. The name would suggest heaps of menthol, but not so. It's one of the milder mentholated soaps that I've used. Which is fine while I'm figuring out the open blades. After I put the straight down, the Glacial Lemon Chill aftershave more than picked up the menthol slack!
Yeah, a reliable postal system is something that we tend to take for granted here. We still carp about it, a lot. But compared to some other places, U.S. mail is awesome.
Leprechauns heard how much I spent on shaving gear. Came and took almost all of it for their pot of gold. I think they are afraid to fool with the Italians, and that this razor had much better days. I dare not tell them it was a great shave. Happy St. Patties Day! Oh....... Don't worry I didn't snitch you guys out with some of your stuff. $$$$ Be well.
