This morning’s shave was inspired by @Karl G and his W&B. The razor is a 6/8 George Wostenholm ‘Real IXL Razor’ and is always a pleasure to shave with. Soap was MdC fougere, and I’m moving to a larger brush in my soap longevity test, a ~23mm TOBS Silvertip. A splash of Thayer’s rose petal finished up nicely.

Today's shave was with a freshly honed German made razor. Very nice 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. I used a Gillette Fatboy, the day before, and the DE shaves don't hold a candle to Straight Razor shaves. Wonderfully made Straight.

Razor- F.W.Engels "Special".
Brush- Omega 10098 Boar. Better every time I use it.
Soap- Arko/Sandalwood scented.
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Mmmmm Mmmmmm Good.

C. V. Heljestrand MK 33 this morning, soap was MdC lathered with a TOBS Silvertip. This brush is labeled as a Super Badger, but it has extremely white hooked tips, and we also know that if it’s a Rooney and Lee made it, the knot doesn’t always correspond to the handle lettering lol. A splash of Myrsol finished up.

This was the second shave with the TOBS brush and MdC, yesterday’s shave used 0.5g so the usage is up a little, but not as much as I expected. Today I used 15 ‘swirls’ and the first pass didn’t have quite enough water in it. Still feeling the brush out a bit WRT this ‘experiment’.
