Just started to handle razor blades more than ever and would like to share how I like to hold a blades for modifying or storing. Magnetic business cards really reduce the chance of cutting yourself IMO.
Same here. I'll load a blade, use it till it's finished, and then dispose of it. I figure more handling increases the chances for cutting fingers or dulling the blade edge.
I change razors often and a blade sits around a little longer than I like, I believe this is a common practice for a lot of shavers to leave the blade in the razor. Handling a blade a lot increases the odds of a cut no doubt so precaution is important and good handling practices are needed. Have some great shaves.
I do the same. Razor blades were never intended to be handled, except as you noted. As others have stated, cuts could result.
Since I change razor daily, I do change blades on a daily basis. I just put them on the counter, nothing really special. I've just cut myself once, and that was at the beggining of the Journey when I was learning to handle things. Enviado desde mi moto g(6) plus mediante Tapatalk
Yup. I move blades a lot. My Den is not child friendly at all. I am just carefull. @Ron R looks like you have a good system!
At the very least, the magnetic business card is really useful for picking up razor blades that are accidentally dropped on the floor. I am surprised that people handle razor blades so much. Band-Aids! Hey, where are the Band-Aids? . I think I will just stick to once per week.
