    Same here, James, except I started out doing 4 passes. As your technique improves, you can get very nice 2+ pass shaves without the irritation.

    Thanks for the encouragement. I need to start shaving on the weekends with my Dovo shavette because I have more time. During the week I have less time getting ready for work and just do not want to be in a rush with the shavette. Thanks for your encouragement and when I do take the plunge I know I will have a lot of support from you and the rest of our crew.

    Blackland Dart
    Gillette Silver Blue
    Semogue Cherry OC Boar
    Proraso AS

    Went to wifey's dermatologist yesterday...removed a few facial milia, but also found an ingrown hair (I thought was infected milia). Very tender skin this morning, but she had said OK to shaving, no need to wait a day. But...since I have all the sensitive skin products from Proraso, a great time to use all at once.

    Actually one of the best shaves so far, despite some small bumps from the process and being tender. DFS on mostly a two pass process. Was very gentle with the Dart and the GSB, felt like not touching skin at all. A little bit of a 'Aha!' moment. Will definitely be getting a few more GSB blades, and working towards repeating this every day! The Dart felt more like my FB or Slim adjustable than ever today.

    I fell behind on the the thread Monday, and I just caught up. Gents, we're on pace for a 7500 post month! I believe that's a record-breaker! I have enjoyed all the fantastic shaves, photos, participation and discussion this month!

    Well going to see what's wrong with the shoulder today. Maybe they can fix it, I know I'm headed toward EOL cause the parts are worn out, but still got some gruff left in me yet.
    Continue the old Gilettes, here is one that I either havent used or used only once. Cleaned off the paint on the cap to repaint it black, but I liked the silver look so much I just clear coated it. The bottom plate and handle is plastic of some sort. Nice one pass, it really did the job on the whiskers this morning. Nice, clean, smooth, well worth the time fixen this razor up.
    Trying to figure out what to use next, a slim, Fatboy maybe a Flair tip?
