  3. DFS for me this morning with Wet Shaving Products soap-Mahogony(Rustic). I remain puzzled, though. about the fact that the soap goes right to the top of the puck. Don't soaps perform better when they have some air between them and the top(like those of The Soap Exchange and Jeeves)? Or doesn't it matter much, if at all?
  4. Congrats on the progress, Blair!

  7. Glad the SE shaves are working well for you, James! To each his own, or the old adage "it's your shave, enjoy it your way." Injectors and SE shaves work really well for me so I stuck with them. I don't dislike DE razors but just got better results with the others.

A very nice shave this morning. I was good for close to 14 hours on this same shave yesterday.

I am still working my way through product and making lots of progress.

    Enjoy your day.
  9. No shave day for me. I took a day off to finish up some odds and ends around the house. Realtor coming to take pictures tomorrow afternoon so we've got to be ready to go! Lots of little cleaning, organizing, straightening, and otherwise fairly easy things to do today. Alice's aunt is coming over to entertain Wilson so we can work uninhibited.

The house will go on the market at some point after pictures Thursday. Then we leave on Sunday for a week at Disney World during Spring Break!

On another note - this is my 10,000th post. Whew! Who knew when I joined in December 2015 that I'd still be contributing and enjoying my time on here so much. Thank you to all the wonderful members of the 30 day crew! This is the best little corner of the interwebs.
  10. Congrats on 10,000 posts Perry! Looking forward to many more!

  15. We don't have a strict timeline, but would like to be in our new house before the summer band season starts in mid July. We'd like to move closer to my school to cut down on commute as well as get in the right area for Wilson to attend the elementary school we have in mind. He'll end up in the school zone for where I teach, so it's possible that I teach him in about 10 years, which is both neat and frightening. There are three elementary schools that feed the high school where I work, and we have one of those specifically in mind.

  17. I'll see about digging those manly yellow & green farm tractor mugs out Fuzzy! I'm sure there are enough to assign one each to a day of the week and still a couple left over for coffee. Do you have seven different soaps to drop in mugs? There's Menthol Williams Monday, Tabac Tuesday, Williams Wednesday, Colgate Thursday, Williams Friday, Williams Saturday... ;)
Nothing wrong with knowing what you like and going with it!

  18. Better be sure he doesn't call you "Dad" in class!(Or is it the band?). But that's good planning. Does your school system have K-5, 6-8, and 9-12? As for the possibility of Wilson being your student, the coach of Harvard's Mens Hockey(the "Crimson Of the North")-had his 2 sons on his team for a couple years.

  20. Yes, the elementary schools here are K-5, middle school is 6-8 and high school 9-12. I know a lot of teachers who ended up with their kid in class.
