Yes there are bumps on the inside. I went to a glass shop, and for a few ( a lot ) dollars they had a make your own glass _______ ( insert project ) I chose a bowl but there were a couple of custom add ons. For starters the base. I don’t recall what it was intended it for but the glass shop had these discs and we added it to the bottom. I want texture inside so we rolled the hot glass over clear beads right before I was about to collapse the bowl the give it texture.
I guess I'd put them in the same aggressive ballpark but I find the Dart more effective ...when the going gets tough ATG it doesn't hesitate as the R41 sometimes does. It's a beautiful piece, sorry it's not working for you.
