Charlie! @wristwatchb I was taking tomorrow's SOTD and decided to take a picture of my everyday to and from work watch. The original band was rubber. Currently sporting a blue NATO. SKX011J1. Non hacking and no manual winding so not everyone's cup of tea but I like it. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
The threading is smooth and everything fits together first rate. I'll see how she drives on the morning. Thanks
@Shave Fu never did, why should you Jason? There's a time and place for multiquotes. Remember; with great powers comes lower post counts. Yup, the only kind available - vintage. I need to move it from the pictured tin because it started to rust. Not stainless, just gray painted.
Wisconsin gave up a few goodies today. A Boker, an Ontario Cutlery, a Yankee Cutlery, and an unused Page Stropper. It was a good day Getting ready to board a delayed flight home.
Thank you. They are promising to hold my plane in Denver. I’ll have to run between gates, but should make it to Boise around 1:00am
Good luck! I can see the planes take off from DIA from my backyard. I'd wave but I'm sure I'll be sleeping by then. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Our granddaughter spends every Wednesday night with us. Her and I cook something sweet every time she comes over on Wednesday. This was tonight's cookies....chocolate chip Easter cookies. Wish y'all could smell um!
Round 2, Match 1: Stirling - Baker Street vs Central Texas Soaps - Mr. Pepper Shave 1: Stirling - Baker Street The Setup: Razor: Merkur 34C Blade: Feather Stainless Brush: Perfecto Pure Badger Mug: Henry Cavendish Post Shave: Witch Hazel and Cetaphil We are starting off the 2nd round the right way. Stirling was awesome again today. It has the best post shave feel of any soap I have used. It makes lather for days and is as slick as you want it to be. Still dialing in the face lather method, but this was an awesome shave! WTG and XTG and touchup for near BBS. I rated each soap in the first round so I will only do it again if I have a significant change. Central Texas Soaps will be next. Have a great day!
well hello fello shavers, wednesday again.. today i 'll play along and go with a @wchnu williams shave ,the omega 10005 boar ,.this was my regular set up for over 10 years, didn't even know other shave soap existed, shy of wilkinson..i did however use this set up with mach 3s..well brighter days prevailed and today pulled out the #77 with the spoiler. 10th shave on this blade..not bad..smooth 2 pass combination shave.. no signs of tug or pull. a little more buffing to get the hard spots but its an older blade..the soap performed as usual ,slick, worked well, i did overload the brush..a working shave, no fluff.finished up with the new nivea deep aftershave.. nice stuff, worth a try ..woody, and lasts a little while. would also pair up with many edt's. has that base to it.have a great evening everyone..
