I presume this is a Delto Echo Gillette Slim? I really love his designs... I really need to get one or two of my vintage razors done by him. Good stuff! Josh Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
With Osage now being sold on the Clubman website, I might soon make a play for the "freezer". (Course it's also on Williamsport Barber Supply-for which I get a magazine/order form from time to time now, having made a recent order from those fellas).
Gentlemen, Here’s my icy-cold Thursday SOTD: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/new Rapira Bundubeard Kameelperd’s Kick SS Prep ASB Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash Aramis EdT Smooth as a baby’s tukhis and smelling fantastic. This Kameelperd soap is a bona-fide face freezer which can easily compete with the Stirling Glacials. It has the same rich coffee aroma and great lather as the other two soaps in this Kick series but the menthol power can put tears in your eyes and icicles in your face. The skincare is excellent as well. A nice massage with the Prep followed by some Alcolado Glacial and I’m good to go!
Unfortunately it appears that Delta Echo is no longer in business. I've read some disturbing things which I won't go into here simply because I don't have first hand experience but needless to say a bunch of people are upset with them. I've been looking for a similar place to get some work done but haven't found anything yet
Hmm, I wondered... I didn't see any updates to his website last time I looked. Now it looks like it is officially down (Twitter is still up though?). That's disappointing. I've read that Northshore Razors in Hawaii does a good job, but I have no personal experience with them. It's worth a look. Josh Sent from my LYA-L29 using Tapatalk
Fine "Marvel" razor Rainbow Stainless blade Omega 10066 boar brush Stirling Margaritas in the Artic Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Daxton A/S The Marvel razor really works well for me, always a very nice if not great shave. All the other parts worked well and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.
Ikon SBS/BIC. Still mild on its most aggressive setting so a few more touch ups but really smooth and adequately effective. Very enjoyable.
Pre: Warm water splash Brush: Unbranded with V. Sheng 29mm 2BF Soap: Cyril R. Salter Razor: Cobra Classic Blade: Schick Proline P Post: Warm then cold water splash, Pashana Original ASL After using the Vector for four days I thought it only fair to let the Cobra have its say. Has the Vector ousted the Cobra from pole position in my affections? Not quite, maybe if I fit the Vortex with a Pro Super I'll change my mind. Happy Shaving one and all.
