Thursday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Green Mountain Balsam Spice Shaving Soap T-400 Silvertip Gillette Techmatic Techmatic Band CWR Granddad's Blend AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Green Mountain Balsam Spice Shaving Soap face lathered well with T-400 Silvertip brush. I did two passes with the Gillette Techmatic razor with a Techmatic Band SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Cobra Classic Schick Proline P After using the Vector for four days I thought it only fair to let the Cobra have its say. Has the Vector ousted the Cobra from pole position in my affections? Not quite, maybe if I fit the Vortex with a Pro Super I'll change my mind. Happy Shaving one and all.

Unless it's an E, the tab does not move. Do not open the spring or you'll ruin the razor. Also, keep a blade in it Herm

This may have been answered... the early model E2's opened. Later models did not. All the E2's do not have grooves on the safety bar. That came in with the E3. If it has 2 patend numbers it is a G. The E's only have one. They all shave great!
