  1. There he is!
I feel better now. Thanks for sharing, Andrew.
It won't be long before I put my scuttle away for the warmer months ahead.

  2. I knew what you meant, Rick. I’m just being a bit of a goof...off work this week so had to replace the entertainment somehow. :angelic007:

Gave the Red Tip another day today. Outstanding 3 pass shave. 3rd shave with this fantastic PIF’ed soap from @PLAla. Lots of other 30DC forwarded stuff today as well- this knot came on trade from @BaylorGator and the razor came via trade from @Screwtape. Awesome products all. Love the Baker St scents- there are subtle differences between the Strop Shoppe original and the Stirling copy, but enjoy them both immensely.
Some of you may remember I lamented these blades when they came in- made for Turkish market Perma-Sharps. I was worried they weren’t the originals. Well, if they are different, it doesn’t matter, as these are excellent Russian Gillette blades regardless.
    Have a great day, all!

  7. Love the photos, Andrew! Sounds like a great shave with that very nice ABC set. My CH2 synthetic is waiting an hour away at the border. I have some business down there next Tuesday, so I’ll go pick it up.
FWIW, my kids had that same wooden toy. They used it a ton! I got it at Costco if memory serves.

  9. Once I worked it for a bit more the bottom half definitely began to thicken up more. I was able to drag the brush through that bottom lather and that is what I "painted" on that actually worked very well. The more you "whip" Williams (or at least the more I do that) the more it tends to stay bubbly. Get plenty off the puck to work with, add some water, and instead of whipping start swirling and compressing, if that makes sense. Then bring that out and just put it on your face without lathering.

  12. Awesome shave, Jason! Glad you are enjoying the Baker Street soap. I thought the Stirling splash complemented the soap really well. Between the two you get a real mix of the peppermint and juniper.

  15. Thanks Jason, Grandma bought that for Logan for his first Christmas. Both boys definitely play with it quite a bit.
    Thanks Clint!

  19. 21st March, 2019

    Razor - Ever-Ready 1912
    Blade - GEM Stainless (4)
    Brush - Ever-Ready H40 w/ tuxedo knot
    Soap - Palmolive Stick
    Post - Boss 'The Scent'

Another cracking 2 pass (plus) shave has left me feeling smooth and smelling great! This combination of gear is fantastic!

For those in the know... How do the Ever-Ready 1924s compare to the 1912s in terms of efficiency and comfort?

    Enjoy your shaves gents![IMG]
