    Thank you, Jason! PAA managed to put out the Ascension in stainless for $70 or so. If they kept it in that ballpark, I think they would do well. But, maybe not.

    All is not lost, Rick. I just got back home...decided to wear white socks with black Crocs. My Bride also pointed out that the little white tag on my waistband was sticking out of my pants. Everything was cool until she called me Minnie Pearl. :happy097:

    Great Williams shave, Neal. I'll remember your tip about just painting and dabbing on the lather when I try my Trac II Williams shave. I bet @wchnu (aka the 30DC Pink Panther) will be proud! He does look Fuzzy by the way!

    On my first plane ride, I had to change planes in Atlanta. I was prepared to make the O.J. dash when the plane landed. I got off the plane, looked at the board, and walked to the very next gate (maybe 50 steps), and sat down. That was the first and last time that ever happened. :rofl:

    My youngest daughter arrived for a visit last night and will be here until Saturday afternoon. I’m pretty excited. She and I are going out to bang away with some guns tomorrow

    For today's shave i used one of my two brand new gillette super speed flare tips (the British one for today's shave) and i have to say it shaves as good as the day it left the factory!!! Great razor Indeed, slightly less mild than my aristocrat but Amazon non the less. Ill be posting a review on all my new gear, comparing the American super speed to the UK made one, and then putting them up against my aristocrat too.
    I'll also be posting the review on the soap i used very generously sent by Natie shortly.

    Razor: gillette super speed flare tip (UK)
    Blade: feather hi-stainless (3)
    Soap: Uncle Jon's pipe smoke
    Aftershave: the body shop maca root balm

    We had to do that once in Chicago. We barely made the connecting flight. Our checked bags didn't.
