As usual I have no time to get through all the post. Which really sucks. Other then my little world across the street this is my favorite place to be. The cream of the crop seem to gravitate there and they let me hang around.

Thanks to all that played along with Williams Wednesday. For those that missed that train ....be at the station next week as it comes around at the same time. ( I am keeping count and will be sending a note to Santa later in the year) For those that play along on other days.. He already knows who you are..GOOD PEOPLES!!


I made a nice road trip to MS yesterday. May will be 6 years since my Mom passed. I try to make to visit her grave fairly often and was lagging behind due to work and such. I always leave very early in the morning (0200 yesterday) and try to get there around daylight. Mom always loved the smell of a cigar so I light one up while I am there. I visit her grave and a couple of other family members buried in the same cemetery. The reason for leaving so early is so that I am not bothered too much with the phone along the way there. I get tired of peopling and it is my getaway for a little while. Sure enough my phone started going off right after 0700 and did not stop all day LOL. Work called as I was getting into a little MS town that I was going to hunt for a antique store. I settled on a stop by a Fred,s super dollar store and found more of the generic old spice and a couple of cakes of Williams. I Rushed back to Baton Rouge threw on a uniform and darted off toward work. I called the boss and found out I had misunderstood her second call and that I was not needed. oh well....... I will do the junk store hunt another day.
