I just picked up several Murphy and McNeil soap samples last week. Great products, from what I’ve tried so far, plus a portion of the proceeds benefits families with autistic children. Class act all around!

March Madness!! March 23 Razor - Gillette NEW LC Blade - (2) Soap - Soap Commander Courage Brush - Semogue 620 Post - Alum Round two with the NEW LC and Super Max blade. Round one went very well so we'll change up tonight and go to Soap Commander with the Semogue 620. Great lather and another nice, smooth shave. I've never had an issue with a Supermax blade that I can think of. They are made in India, though the company headquarters are in the UAE now. Vidyut and Malhatra were bought by Supermax and they now have their own carts and disposables as well. Obviously, I'm avoiding those. Three passes to a near-BBS and all's well. Quiet alum, and it was a good first day off for a short vacation. Tomorrow we are attending a play sponsored by the Jung Society and then I'm treating my wife to a find restaurant for dinner after. SUNDAY'S SHAVE Razor - Edwin Jagger Kelvin Blade - *5th Shave Shave Cream - Eli's Extracts "Oceania" (Obtained in a trade almost 3 years ago with ob1page) Aftershave - Thayers "Medicated" Witch Hazel Aloe Vera Formula Deodorant - Ooh La Active Organics "Lavender" Fragrance - Aqua di Parma "Cedro di Taormina" Using this old cream I have had sitting around for nearly 3 years. It's not a regular foaming lather cream, but an actual 'cream' that smears on the skin by hand. I figure I'll need to fully clean the razor after this upcoming shave. I just wanted something different on Sunday. A change up. **EDIT - The cream works decently. It needs some water rubbed in then it will provide some glide. It doesn't lather, so it's not as fun, but it works. I would recommend it for a 1-pass then a touch up pass type of shave. I did a 2-pass with clean up and pushed a little too far with it. Got a patch of red on my normal sensitive spot. This cream is very usable. The only down side is having to reapply by hand after each pass and then having to rinse my hand off. The cream didn't gunk up my razor but I definitely think this could gunk up some razors out there. It doesn't completely rinse clean without a tiny bit of friction to get the last residue. I think this would work best with a straight razor rather than a DE or cartridge type.

Pre: Warm water splash Brush: WDC-8, Maseto 24mm 2BF Razor: WS Sticky Blade: Gillette Nacet Post: Warm then cold water rinse, 4711 ASL A lovely bright sunny Sunday morning so I went with a bright sunny citrus shave. Happy Shaving one and all.
Patent Day for Ever-Ready 1914 (Little Lather Catcher) 105 Year Anniversary SE Sunday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Green Mountain Lime Vetiver Shaving Soap T-400 Silvertip Ever-Ready Little Lather Catcher Gem Blue Star SE CWR Granddad's Blend AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Green Mountain Lime Vetiver Shaving Soap face lathered well with T-400 Silvertip brush. I did two passes with the Ever-Ready Little Lather Catcher razor with a Gem Blue Star SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
