  2. My good sir, I will have you know Mystic isn't the only New England town that is fit for Whalers. I love that town, it's quite beautiful. By the way it's CT not CN . I forgive you though.

  8. Thanks Gary. The older M&F brushes are amongst my favorites. I prefer them to Simpson and Paladin. On par with Rooney.
Very interesting handle. I don't have anything like it...until now. :)

  11. Just made an offer on my all-time number one favorite watch ever, and it was accepted. Seller's pic:

Already have the vintage band I've been saving just for this all ready to go on. Been waiting YEARS for one of these to pop up in good shape. Will probably find somewhere to get it serviced and will very likely replace every other watch I own (which is now down to three).
  12. No disrespect, but what makes it your favorite watch? Sentimental reasons? Give us the story. :)
  13. My first watch was a Caravelle. Bought it in 1974 from money saved from my paper route. Cost me about $65.00 at the time.
  14. It's just the looks. I had the gold version of this same watch, found it for $5 at a junk shop about 10 years ago. Loved it, wore it daily until one of the lugs broke clean off. Said then I'd stalk Ebay until the silver model showed up, and here it is.

A president that is in desperate need of a cleaning. I’m thinking that’s the reason for the price I got it at.
