    It was a long game Friday. Most of my team hasn't played before, and we played the best team in the league. It was fun, but I have to admit I am not sure the best place to work on with these boys. We only get one practice a week, and it is hard to get them through fielding and hitting practice in that time.

    Hi Jim. Been hectic around here lately. My gf's grandfather is not well, my mother hasnt been well,my daughter has been heavy into hockey and that burns time, and to top things off my truck needed my attention for some immediate maintenance . Sorry I haven't been around like i usually am. Hope alls well for you.

    My daily driver is a 2002 Silverado that I bought new. It's been a good truck but it's starting to show its age.

    Using the Raffle Razor that @CrustyCat was so generous to donate for TSD's spring raffle. It arrived quick as lightning after choosing it when my ticket got picked. Absolutely made a bad day into a great one on Friday when wife said, Hey, you forgot about the package. He even included two 5 packs of blades! PolSilver and Voskhod. Nice! Out for two days working Sat and Sun, so just put in use today. Love it. Just ride the gap (as it works for me and my other Gillettes), and a DFS was achieved with 2 passes and light buffing on the tough spots. A little more pressure needed compared to my Dart. The GFT shave cream and skin food also appeared over the weekend, and figured it'd be a gold themed day. Really like the GFT, the Semogue boar exploded with lather very quickly. Love their take on the sandalwood aroma.

    A while back I was getting my F150 serviced at the local Ford dealing. I cannot service it myself for what they charge. Anyway, they had a $65,000.00 F150 (not a Raptor) on the show room floor. I told my son to get away from it before they charge him to look at it.

    49 shaves in and I feel like I am starting all over.
    The chin and below my bottom lip are screaming at me: "What the heck are you scraping all over us?"
    Seriously, it has been at least 6 months since I have shaved that area and only the second time with a straight.
    These hairs are the absolute toughest on my face and they do not go down without a fight.
    Wire bristles are soft in comparison.
    The Red-Injun went on the warpath and was riding rough in the saddle.
    Except for the WTG pass,     this was a tough shave.
    Can blame the software. The Stirling "appeared" to be slick.
    The Paladin handle is one of my favs.     The 28mm knot is excellent.
    I blame user-error before I blame the razor's edge, but yesterday's Dovo did a better job.

    This bottle of Floriday Water has 10g of menthol crystals, so combined with the glacial
    Stirling, this face freezer would chill even @Yehuda D

    I've noticed a lot of chatter in the past few days about the Red Tip SuperSpeed. Meanwhile, @Terry shared a few of his interesting razors. Along those lines, it seemed like a good time to bring out my flawsome Red Tip.

    Despite the flaws, everything is spot on and the shaves are everything that one could ask for. A very satisfying start to the week.

    Ain't that the truth! My DD is a early '99 F250 w/7.3 (built 2/98). 316k miles on it, and it's just halfway to it's expected rebuild at 600k. With a weekly washing and monthly vacuum, and only a couple minor bruises, it still looks great. Changed the shocks over to adjustables (for towing or not) many moons ago, always keep the OEM tire size (16 inch), and it rides like a dream. Maintenance....had to replace transmission and starter (and of course consumables), but other than that, it's been a great truck. My father bought a '16 RAM 2500 (gasser) with 19" tires and 5" taller overall, it rides like a bouncy toy and gets HALF the gas mileage of the F250, even when driven like there's an egg on the go pedal.
