I have been on the hunt for one. They do look like the forerunner to the 1924. I am hoping to get to borrow one soon. @twhite and @Bird Lives say they are veddy nice shavers.

Mon 25th March RazoRock Syn. 24mm P & B Pall Mall Schick Type F Schick Proline [ 7 ] Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion. My F is not in showroom condition, but I consider myself lucky to have got hold of what is my Birth Year Razor. It fits beautifully in my hand and manoeuvres very nicely around the face during a Shave. Whilst not very aggressive, I find that without any problems I have no difficulty in getting a good close all round finish. Would I swop it for a Vector ? NO !
Menthol Monday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Ingram Shaving Cream Jayaruh #313 Ever-Ready Little Lather Catcher Gem Blue Star SE CWR Osage Rub My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Ingram Shaving Cream face lathered well with Jayaruh #313 mixed 70/30 badger/boar brush. I did two passes with the Ever-Ready Little Lather Catcher razor with a Gem Blue Star SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Monday 25th March E-R 1912 (British) on an Ikon Tuckaway Handle with a GEM SS Blade A lovely 3 pass shave. The heavier handle certainly gives an increase in efficiency. A 1912 becomes more like a 1924.....and the 1924 moves closer to a Streamline.
