Hello and welcome, Luke! Hmmmm. My favorite soap scent is probably Bath House Spanish Fig and Nutmeg. Lucky me, it's a great soap, too.
Fig and nutmeg! Sounds very festive indeed! I once shaved with a cinnamon shave soap, now the cinnamon topping in my coffee reminds me of shaving lather
Hi from Seoul, nice to meet you. Favorite scents for shaving soap: Fogère, Vetiver, leather and citrus, but not together.
Welcome to TSD Luke @Stagengland! Looks like you are settling in well. This Crew is full of opinions, advice, even actual information. Don't be shy, ask questions if you don't see what you're looking for. Variety. My exception being Bay Rum that's heavy on cloves - not a fan of that group. I like Tabac, Palmolive Shave stick, Arko for being acceptable scent and great lathers. Proraso Red, Green, and White are all nice scent variations on the same soap theme. I've got a puck of Modern Williams with added Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS for a touch more scent and menthol. Recently tried and enjoy RazoRock WTP Lime Burst. Those are the Big Company soaps. Once I hit Artisan Land, the scents tend to get stronger and more varied. Love a Barbershop Scent though that's subject to interpretation but leans toward Pinaud Clubman AS. I need to start sampling Old Spice dupes to go with the Vintage Shulton juice. What about you? Any particular scent genres that you seek?
Haha appreciating the video and barbershop quartet twist Although the original is sadly rather tainted after the recent MJ documentary Lavender a popular choice there! I do like a bit of lavvy too but feel like it's too floral at times. I tried a vanilla and tobacco soap which was the bomb. It was recommended otherwise I would never have thought that would be nice!!!!!!!
