If you cannot find any Williams let me know and I'll put a couple of pucks in the mail to you. Our local Piggly Wiggly has it.

I would suggest using Noxema Classic Cleansing Cream as a preshave and use my routine by face lathering the Williams on top of it. It is foolproof!

Does that Herbal Cologne Lotion pass for aftershave as well as cologne?(Y'know, like Aqua Velva Aftershave&Cologne)_

My Bride purchased a cheap 10X mirror, and that sent me down the wet shaving rabbit hole. I shaved with my rotary electric razor, as I had normally done for 30 years, and one day I looked at my face at 10X. All I saw was a scruffy beard and dry, irritated skin. I eventually replaced the Norelco with a Braun, started using a pre electric shave product, and the shaves got better. I eventually picked up my first DE, and then I really started seeing progress. The Braun now sits under the sink most of the time. I sometimes use it when I'm in a hurry or for neck & sideburn trims.

Congrats on the trailer sale, and I hope your bathroom construction is complete soon! Be careful if you buy another mirror. It might end up costing you $1000. :)

Thanks Charlie! The bathroom should be 100% in the next week. Trailer is gone and my front yard is clearer.
Now to sell my wifes 2nd icecream trailer.

Yeah, when he shaved off the left eyebrow the right one had to come off out of necessity. Good thing he didn't do that with the other ear!

It has been fun following your progress with straights...both shaving and honing, Joseph. You'll get your chin figured out. For me, the bulb of my chin is the most challenging area of my face to shave with an open blade. I'll take a lot of small strokes from different directions while stretching my skin. I sometimes end up re-lathering the bulb of my chin 3 or 4 times while doing this. You'll be giving chin shaving lessons in no time. :)

Following a very enjoyable three-pass shave with the Weber DE loaded with my last Lord Super Stainless blade, we got a few things knocked out today.

    1. Haircuts
    2. Picked up two pairs of cargo shorts while my Bride was getting her hair done. I used all 3 of her store VIP shopper credits and ended up spending $7.
    3. Ordered area rugs
    4. Finalized shower doors, mirrors, and wire shelves
    5. Met our insurance agent for a walk-through
    6. Checked out all the bathroom tile work (almost complete)
    7. Watched some of the basement flooring being installed (should be complete today)
    8. Checked out stain colors for upstairs flooring
    9. Scheduled a time to get the sales contract for our current house signed (tomorrow)
    10. A few house honey do's
    11. Ate ice cream with my lunch (highlight of the day)

I've been taking photos at every stage of construction - over 1700 photos so far.

I have recently been instructed that we will get a new TV for the basement. My Bride likes her Hallmark movies as well as I like my shaving goodies. Guess we'll go TV shopping in the next few days.

The next few weeks are shaping up to be fairly busy getting moved and settled. If things go as planned, we hope to be settled around the end of May.

Sounds like a busy day, Charlie. Feels good buying new clothes because your others are too big on you and not the other way round. Congrats!
