  2. Nice, Terry!
Good to know the eyebrows have grown back and glad to hear you can hear.

I just finished my annual audiogram here at work. Still above the line but still suffer from selective hearing

  4. Good job. I quit 12 years ago and don’t regret it. I do miss a good cigar once in a while.

  5. I have been wanting to get my grandad's pipes out and try them but then I tell myself I don't need to. I have never smoked nor dipped but I loved the smell of his pipe when he smoking in his later years.

  11. That is what I keep telling myself as well. No need to start now. Thanks for the words I needed to hear.

  12. You are welcome, Joseph. The fun part of SR shaving is figuring the stretch on hard spots. It also can be most frustrating.
  13. Day 82.

Did the Williams thing today. That puck is getting mighty thin, too. One more thing to kill off here soon. Three passes with the Ralf Aust, and the ever-diminishing touchups with the Schick. And finished with the icy blast of Pitralon. I mentholated it myself - don't even need coffee after that!

First use of the Simpsons synthetic early this morning. Picked a triple milled puck to attack with it, while keeping within the Italian soap focus. Ignored the instructions that came with it that said to avoid circular motions and, in keeping with the advice of others on here with this brush, loaded the crap out of it. Took it to the face and worked up a very nice lather. This Valobra does produce a good lather, no question. It is just like everyone has said- quite a bit of backbone and definitely not the easiest synth to splay. Easier than the short-lofted Tuxedo flattop, though. I’ll run with it a few more times coming up to give a better review.
One complain out of the box? I don’t know why whoever would put the sticker on this handle would align it with the words ‘Synthetic bristle’ instead of Chubby or the number 2- makes it look off centre. First world problems, I know, but still an irritant to me.

  17. Wonderful picture, Jason. Congrats on the new brush. I see what you're saying about the decals. I don't know if I would have noticed it right off but once I did it would be all that I see.

  19. Yup, need to pull out the Soap Commander when this focus is over, no question. Interested for sure to hear about the changes as well, Neal!
The colours of the BoS fit perfectly into your signature Rick Pics, no question! Super combo, Rick.
    Love the B&W, Keith!
Congrats on doing the full 30 shave rule, John. You have more willpower than me, I’d be more likely to complete a NB than to not switch any soaps or splashes for a month...ok, never mind.
Everything about that combo is awesome, Jim. That boar looks fantastic, and the Seville is just a great scent and product.
Congrats on the new push button, Danny. It looks pretty minty for sure!
Love the look of that new handle for sure, Joseph. It looks very tall in the pic, is it that way in actuality as well?
    Another great pic, Jim.
Sudsy Soapery? Another good soap that I don’t pull out nearly enough.
2 passes on the same blade? I might have to sell my Feather stock now, Terry...:)
Nice travel set up again, Brian. I hope you get to go home soon, although Arizona would be a nice place to be this time of year, I am sure.
Nice shave, Robert. Is that a horsehair brush?
  20. Thanks, Jason. The Seville will always have a place in my den.
I've done all twenty seven shaves this month with B&M soaps and splashes. Fortunately I have enough of them they haven't gotten tiresome.
