I'll take all of the off center/crooked labeled Simpson brushes you have to get them off of your hands. They just don't look good in the dens. PM for an address.
Don't look Danny! That's how THEY get you. First they post cute photos. Then they tell you about all the neat tricks they can do. Next you are scouring BST threads, and revisiting the Simpsons site daily. Thanks Jason! I avoided being Inspired, and chose the LE set on a whim. It's good stuff. Minor market fluctuation may occur. Overall trend should maintain. Stay the course! I'd consider a deep discount for a slightly flawed. Do those decals last the life of the handle? I was disappointed when the sticker came off a new Omega 48 handle. Got over it pretty quick for that price range.
I just received my 1959 Fatboy today. It came with the original box. Now I have 2! The middle photo is the '59 razor. The last photo has the '59 on the left and the '61 is on the right which I recently won in the Spring 19 TSD raffle. They will be used in the April Adjustable month, but I will not follow any specific rule or focus. I will be "adjustable" in choosing what razor to assist me in shaving my stubble.
I’m thinking of emailing Simpson’s and asking them for another decal, actually. I don’t think I should have to pay for it.
I'm curious if you note any difference between the two. I haven't been out looking lately, but over a couple years of hitting dusty antique shops I've owned a few Fat Boys. Always cleaned them up and lubed with mineral oil since many were still cruddy from the previous owners. Only had one with a stuck adjuster. They would get a side by side shave test to determine if the latest one was as good as my keeper. Still got that four dollar E-4, though I might have mixed it up with another that was the same date and condition, even gave the same great reduction. I won't pass up a deal on one in the wild which I consider $15 or less. They trade too easily.
Except from me . It is Hump day though! Have a great evening my friends! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
