He doesnt do any videos anymore, but I really enjoy watching The Mad Scientist of Wet Shaving. Believe his name is John Haluck? Sorry spelling. Lots and lots of tips! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
Yes, I have seen a few of his...not seen any...well maybe one...terrible video and it was a young "dood" cursing his way through the vid
I found Mantic59's videos useful when I first started wetshaving. https://youtube.com/user/mantic59 No linktastic links? Aw c'mon, hook your wetshaving bretheren up. If you were trying to lather it with a brush, it won't work. Cremo is brushless-only.
I try not to "pander" or ask for people to watch my videos. I'll include a link if you would like. Also, cremo sandalwood was supposed to lather. The 1st formulation would not lather, but they reformulated the cream and now it will lather. I have a video of it on my channel.
Please do, I think your videos would be interesting to watch. Don't worry, this isn't one of those sketchy forums where you get banned for posting useful and relevant links. I look forward to seeing it, and will see if Cremo Sandalwood is in any of the local stores.
Paul H. .......I always go away with a smile after watching his videos also Kevy is awesome . I have had dealings with both Men and I can tell you they are both true gentleman
I read somewhere that he might start doing them again someday, but I think he had a lot of personal issues going on with his son and most all of his shaving equipment and camera were stolen. Too bad, liked him a lot.
What type of low life would steal shave equipment? My heart goes out to him. I really hate thieves. I hope I never catch one in the act. I honestly don't think I could control what I would do.
Not really sure, this is just speculation, but with the issues he was having with his son, I would venture a guess that it was him.
I am so sorry to hear this. That type of situation has to be a nightmare. How come those we love will hurt us the most?
There was a video floating around showing how not to overlather. I think we could all learn something from it. Very nicely done, dry brush, dry old soap. Chunks and shards of soap were flying everywhere. Maybe we can get the author to redo it a little more safely by wearing OSHA approved eye protection. Long live the Liberty of the Free Shave. To lather or not to lather, that is the question.
