Friday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Proraso Sandalwood Jayaruh #313 Ever-Ready Little Lather Catcher Gem Blue Star SE CWR Pinaud Clubman My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #313 mixed 70/30 badger/boar brush. I did two passes with the Ever-Ready Little Lather Catcher razor with a Gem Blue Star SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
I'd like to know the amount of leather vs. that of tobacco in that soap. Or I should say "percentage".

Purple This is the third handle I've used on the General and the first 2 were excellent. This handle may not be to my liking, however, a few more used may change my mind. Excellent 2 passes with a light touch up and I'm good to go. The sap is running, I've seen 2 Robins and 1 Red Winged Black bird. The Canada Geese are filling the fields. Spring isn't that far away. So, I'm preparing for one last snow storm.
Nice Sheffield made razor today. I had a smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS without touch-ups. This brand of razor, is always a joy to use, and usually excellent quality. Razor- Wade & Butcher. Sheffield. Brush- JR#262. Soap- Arko/Sandalwood scented Aftershave- Vintage Shulton Old Spice
