I've used quite a few Russian blades and like vast majority of them.

Sputnik, Vokshod, Ladas, Rapira, Rapira Platinum Luxe, Rapira Swedish Supersteel, Permasharp Super, Gillette Silver Blue, Gillette Platinum, Nacet, Polsilver Super Iridium, Astra SP, and Gillette 7 O'Clock Blue, Green, and Yellows. There may be a few more that I can't recall at the moment.

Gillette Silver Blue are my favorites with Permasharp Super blades in second. The Rapira Swedish Supersteel worked plenty well that I bought a bunch in bulk when I found them for a just over $5 per 100. Lots of good threads on Russian blades.

    I’ve only used
voskhod, Rapira lux, 7’oclock yellow, Astra SP
Recently used Astra SP, may be my new favorite but need a few more shaves.
I recently shaved with Astra in a red tip. WoW!!!! Almost straight razor close!!! Very very minimal irritation.
I find the Rapira lux to be slightly sharper than voskhod, I find the voskhod to be a very comfortable shave and will continue to stay in rotation.
The 7’0clock yellows, less than five blades used I have a partial tuck left I need to re-visit, but they tend to be more expen$ive. Most lilely will not be regular rotation.

My favorite is the Polsilver, also GSB and Voskhod. Permasharp is not bad but won’t be buying again.

    My favorites are GSBs too.

Maybe not quite as sharp as Feathers but very, very smooth.

Aren’t those vintage US made? And pricey $$$ for blades?

I thought you were referring to a Russian blade as a “spoiler”

I think the best Russian blades are Sputnik and Nacet. These two have a combination of sharpness and smoothness not found in any of the other Russian blades I have tried.

There are a lot of blades mentioned here that I didn't know were made in Russia. That said, of all of them, my two favorites are Gillette Silver Blues and Voskhods.
