A W&B FBU from the wild. In fair shape with all four original washers. Has some hone wear and bug munching of the scales
"Bug munching..." I've never heard that before. But on a side note, I also have a Wade & Butcher. With any really old razor, I always wonder if the scales are original. This pretty much answers that because the scales in your pictures are a perfect match to mine.
Thanks Gents I have little doubt mine is all original, just well used and loved. Yours also @The Fox look to be original also and in very good condition with low mileage
Yeah, I was amazed when I bought my Wade & Butcher. I gave it a half hearted hone and it shaved as good as the razors I bought new. I was shocked! The three other antique straights I bought took several tries to get them even to a marginally acceptable edge.
Oh, you dont want that dirty old thing. I can take that off your hands, if you like. Before those Bugs start to Munching on it. I have had many many razors(horn scales), that were bug munched.

Crown & Double Star German Extra Hollow Ground This was a two for one. It was paired with the Hamburg Ring, and the double razor box. The scales are bone, and were pretty brown, when I got them.
Hamburg Ring Germany This one had a large nick, in the middle of the blade, that was taken out. PITA. In the process of Honing, as we speak. It was bought with the above razor, and box. It too, has bone scales, and the scales were very stained.
Thanks, both razors were pretty nasty, when I got them. I was too embarrassed to put them up, before I touched them up a little.
