1. i sometimes do the same, especially if the soap hasn't been used in a while. helps stop them from drying out imo..

  2. As with most things in wetshaving YMMV. Many people like face lathering and many like bowl, theres no right or wrong way necessarily.

  6. Interestin method. Glad it works for you. Would you consider visiting a secret club some of us formed as a place for the discussion of the idea of prehydrating our soaps? As a practicing member of that group, I'd be happy to welcome you in. We might even consider amending our title to make it an international gathering. I know the President & Vice Prez. ;)
You have visited too, I think - Gary?
  7. yes sir, i add a little water to dry soaps i haven't used in a while..i never load the brush from croaps/soft soaps.if they look dry i will ad a little also..blooming does help with some stubborn products..

  8. Usually what i do with soft soaps and croaps is i take a tiny lump the size of a large pea out of the tub and bowl lather in a separate container

  9. exactly, i do the same, i use an old 1900s silver butter knife to scoop a little out of the tub into the shave bowl..consistently great lathers..and little mess..

I came to work this morning and had a package on my desk that came in Saturday morning. I opened it up and found this. Our janitor ran into my office because he though I had spilled some Pine-sol. Guys I love y'all but this is definately taking one for the team. I'll see how this stuff does in the morning.........................I think. I had to take it out and put it in the truck....co-workers are a little nauseated.

  16. Guess what your truck smells of? If you left the windows up on a hot steamy day you may be forever Pinsolated / ARKOed. If you cracked a window and it rained your seats, carpet, and ceiling have been degreased!

"(One) who has limited authority while taking impressive titles"
Considering the source of the honorific I might just take on that title.
  17. It is raining today so the windows had to stay up. Man.......my truck is going to stank!
