    Let's all take a moment to reflect on history. Past lessons can be useful.

    @Drygulch loaned a Toggle to @NCoxSTL at the 2018 meetup. A closer look at the Golden Corral security video revealed that Adam was actually handing the Toggle to me, and Neal swiftly moved in for the interception. He then distracted the group by handing everyone a zip lock bag of Flying Tiger blades and referring to BBQ ribs later that evening. That's neither here nor there (and I'm not one to carry a grudge), but the Toggle somehow has never made its way out of St. Louis to its rightful home in The Bluegrass State. (I wouldn't have returned it to Adam, either. He is covered in tattoos and such, but my Bride is a fierce body guard. :happy097:)

    So, it is Arko/adjustable April or something like that. In trying to stay in good with the Cartel I ordered a couple of sticks of “Arko”. I had never tried Arko so I said “Why Not”. When it came in, I opened it said “oh no”. I just cannot get past the smell of Arko. It just reminds me of cleaning chemicals. I even graded a stick down yesterday afternoon in hopes that the scent would dissipate. It helped but that Arko scent is still there. Enough about my rant on the scent. On to the shave. I smeared a little of the grated Arko onto the bottom of the salsa bowl and I have to give Arko credit. It does lather up easy. The shave was nice except for the scent. The Arko does not seem to be as slick as Williams or the other soaps I have used. It is not a bad soap and does get the job done. The Fatboy with an Astra SP is a nice combination and did an excellent job.

    Finish up with a little Nivea and Clubman.

    I took one for the team with the Arko. The Arko is put up in a special double sealed container and will not be out for a long time, a very long time.

    Does SC have a storefront, Perry, or do they only sell via mail order? We drive past Ardmore on the way to the beach. It would be fun to stop and meet them sometime.

    (I'm not afraid to make a stop in Alabama. I always have my bodyguard with me. When we're on the road, we usually stop every couple of hours to stretch our legs, grab a cup of coffee, and for the odd altercation.)
