I'm a long time Brut fan. Let's say it was my first aftershave, over 40 years ago. Currently the most available product is the splash on. It is said to be close to the Old Brut 33 by Faberge. Have you had an opportunity to compare them?
I haven't personally had the opportunity to compare them, we only get the original faberge here, but one of my friends has, he said that the brut 33 and splash are both a lot weaker than the original medallion bottled faberge. Brut is my favourite overall aftershave, many people say the younger generation dont like it, but im 21 and i love it!!! Sent from my Redmi S2 using Tapatalk
Hodge podge Muliquote. Thanks Andrew. The more I use M.Wiliams the more acceptable it seems to work. It'll never be a favorite but it does the job. Thanks Jason. It's like ARKO and Palmolive in that it does provide the slick for pennies per shave. Won't win any awards for scent and I prefer a creamy non-dissipating lather. I'd use the Palmolive more often if I could figure out an AS that complements the scent. ARKO is easy - something citrusy. Has there been any more talk about an Outer Perimeter? Old I-285 has reached saturation and surface streets just can't compensate. The only easy answer is live close to where you work.
For me Arko is one of my favourite mass market soaps, and definitely my favourite shave stick. Sent from my Redmi S2 using Tapatalk
I wish I was there, I am missing all the fun. Unfortunately the G-5 is in the shop, in the repair hanger.

I miss that city, I worked as a diver for a few years in my early 20s. I would recommend a stop by the bourbon cowboy, after 10 pm, the mechanical bull becomes a whole lot more fun when the ladies start to "lose" there clothing. It is a fun place even if you are not a big drinker.

No more talk of an outer perimeter. They are adding lanes to existing interstates and making them toll lanes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mark, what kind of brush and soap or cream are you using? Do you normally face or bowl lather? I face lather, and my preferred brush is badger or boar. I am starting to figure out how to get good lathers using a synthetic brush, but it has taken me awhile. Some soaps and creams just lather more easily for me. I'm using C.O. Bigelow (ask Proraso) cream now, and it lathers like a champ. I watched a few videos to see what good lather really looks like. The guys here have given me some great pointers as well. The biggest lathering breakthrough for me was using more product and taking my time to build the lather. I experimented with adding more water to get the consistency I wanted. If I overshoot the water, I just add a little more product. You'll get there, my friend. I'm glad you decided to jump in over here.
