What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

Nothing boring about a well made razor that does the job. This has become one of my favorite areas of the site.

Took the new Filly out for another spin, and another super good shave. This one is a keeper. Cream was a big glob of the always wonderful SMN, the big glob was needed to load up a Persian Jar 3 Super Badger. Agua Balsamica finished things off.

Had a fantastic shave with this blade.BBS in no time flat.

 

German made Razor, somewhat new, for me. I had a fantastic 2 pass shave, with minor touch-ups, that left me BDBS. Fantastic brand of razor. IMHO, better quality than Wade & Butcher.

Razor- F.W.Engel's "Special".
Brush- RazoRock 400, WD High Mountain Badger
Soap- TOBS Eton College
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Ferdinand Magellan Coin Decanter(Shulton Old Spice Cologne).

 

I haven't been using pastes in a few months. About 50 x strokes on the Thuringian under dripping water brought it back to where I like.

A luxurious morning today, CVH MK 33, Martin de Candre rose lathered with a TOBS silvertip, and a splash of D. R. Harris Pink AS. Perfect spring morning shave!

 

It does. Stumbled upon this 7 day set and couldn’t resist. Not the greatest scales, but the blades were in nice shape. Got all of them shaving.

At one time I had a pretty good collection of Genco/Geneva razors. This is my wife's Grandfathers razor. It's feather light, has an excellent edge and is a nice shaving blade. Have a good one.

 

Smiling razor time. I had a smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BBS. This one never lets me down, and holds a great edge.

Brush- RazoRock 400. WD High Mountain Badger knot.
Soap- Arko/Sandalwood scented.
Aftershave- Florida Water.
