Fantastic, Danny. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I’d appreciate it if you posted your handles on the Turner’s thread as well when you are done, if that’s ok.
Stirling is such a great product that you really don't need to bloom. However, I experienced a better lather when I did bloom the soap.
Andrew, I have 30 years on you, but don't worry, it will come soon enough! At that time, I will be smiling from above.
It is for me. The only soaps I’ve ever bloomed/soused/soaked are hard pucks. To each their own on here, though.
Still 36 posts and 68 minutes behind Live 30DC. Dark roast is real coffee. I'll look for that next refill! That could be either 1961 or 1986. All I'll admit to is G-1. Save me a swig. It's getting better. I'm testing the limits with additives and learning to paint it on. No bloom water, just maybe 1/2 teaspoon of Osage Rub followed by a shook out brush. Depending on your menthol tolerance that is barely noticeable or tear jerkingly chilled. I found it pleasurable. If they made Modern Williams in menthol or the vintage mentholated didn't cost as much as a steak dinner, I'd buy some. After I added the Aqua Velva I knew I enjoyed the cooling lather and it didn't change the way the soap works.
I have been waiting on fifty....looked it for years.lol. I hated turning 30...40 was aight..50 is gonna rock!
