Excellent shave report and photo Joseph. MW Lilac was the only MW soap I tried that had to leave the den immediately. Luckily I am not chosen.
Nice shaves, Neal! I don't go past the week before I need to headshave. If I waited as long as you to headshave, then I would need to use clippers before I can shave with a blade.
@brit I woke up and your avatar needs a shave. That is a good one. Maybe he is the culprit stealing your car.
Yes, they are playing at the newly renovated Nassau Coliseum in Nassau County, Long Island. I live in Suffolk County which is east of Nassau.
I normally do a head shave weekly as well, just had too many things going on the past couple of weeks to get to it. Pain sticks are perfect for those extra weeks though - no clogging and it only takes one pass to take care of business.
Just having to skip ahead. I’m almost 1,000 posts behind. We are on the way home from Washington DC. Had a great trip seeing as many sights as we could. We performed in the National Cherry Blossom Parade yesterday, which was terrific. I am completely worn out! Hope all is well in the 30DC.
Perry! Good to see you. Glad you had a great weekend. Have a safe trip home. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
April 14, 2019 Gillette Slim J3 Feather Ever Ready C-40 with APS Flat Top Molton Brown Dominica Grand Bay Rum With all the talk of birth days and such I decided to pull out my birth year Gillette Slim for a go. The little C40 with its synthetic flat top knot loaded and lathered the Molton Brown with ease. I really am pleased with the performance of this soap and am happy to have such a gift from my wife. Loaded with a fresh Feather blade and set to 9, I went with a traditional 3 pass shave. After using the Karve OC with the D plate all week, the Slim at 9 had almost no blade feel. With minimal touch ups my nemesis, aka lower right neck, helped the baby escape. Overall a very good shave. I don't really enjoy the Slim very much so it will go back on the shelf until next weekend. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
Beautiful picture, Clint! Your Slim appears to be in great shape. I need to repaint the numbers on mine. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
April 14 SOTD: Razor: Karve Christopher Bradley Blade: Personna Blue Brush: Razorock 400 Lather: PAA John Frum Aftershave: PAA John Frum I am several pages behind, so I will skip to now. I am back at home but still feeling some jet lag, and I hadn't shaved in a few days. So, this was a nice shave this morning. Two passes and a DFS. I hope everyone has been doing well and has a great day.
