Arko Adjustable April April 15 Razor - 1962 (H1) Gillette Slim (9) Blade - (2) Soap - Arko Brush - 30 DC LE Post - Alum Day two with the Slim and Ladas and halfway through April! I broke out the 30 DC LE brush to get that quick and glorious Arko lather and went two passes and touch up to a very fine DFS result. No issues at all with this setup other than my wife saying "Arko" when I kissed her after the shave. I mentioned "of course, it's April" and she said, "oh yeah". Didn't seem too impressed. That's ok. The smoothness of the shave is impressive enough. Hope your week started off well today! Mine gets rolling in the morning.

Micallef Osaïto **EDIT - Fantastic shave. 2 pass + clean up. Super-smooth. Zero irritation. excellent results. Instead of using some of the nearly-gone Nicci Marie serum I instead used the Advanced Clinicals Hyaluronic Acid cream, which has a great bang for buck ratio. It's not quite as good as PAA's Mysterium Serum though, but close. I figure that the Advanced Clinicals and PAA Mysterium Serum are going to be my main post-shave moisturizers going forward and I'm phasing out my old expensive serums. I still will use PAA's scented post-shave hybrid 'Star Jelly' balm. I'm wondering if PAA will end up combining the best of the Star Jelly and Mysterium Serum into one formula. I've heard that when used together they are fantastic, but I've never tried them at the same time. The Star Jelly is mentholated and missing certain key serum ingredients that are in the Mysterium Serum. I like both for different reasons. The Star Jelly is better if I feel irritation or shave with an aggressive razor. For standard shaves that come out great, the Mysterium Serum or Advanced Clinicals cream works best.
