  8. I'm going to try multi quotes. My apologies if I mess it up.

    Thank you, Clint!
Thanks, Chris! I have a long way to go to become Yoda.

Thank you, Jim! I'd like to spend more time here, unfortunately, life has been keeping me busy. Not in a bad way - just busy.

Thank you, Keith! I haven't cut myself too many times, or badly. Of the ones that I did receive, most (if not all) were a result of making a move too quickly. Definitely a no-no.

    Thank you, Patrick!

Thank you, Robert! It's been a fun run...and it's not the end of the road. Just the beginning. I'll mix it up for awhile with other razors, but the shavette will continue to see plenty of shaves.

That's very nice that your mom is in a rosary group. Not only does it give her something to do that she enjoys, I'm sure that those folks who receive them appreciate them as well. And, yes - there is a hole in each bead - by default. I'll touch base with you via PM. Should I forget, send me a reminder.

  9. Why did you even go there? You are poking a bear with a short stick. :duel:
Besides - soaps don't need to be bloomed - especially days in advance.
  10. Bruce, congrats on your 100 shave milestone using the Parker SRX. Fantastic accomplishment and great summary. I hope all is well, my friend.

I am having a hard time getting started this morning. I plan to use the SS Lollipop Citrus several times a week until it is gone. Three passes and touch ups ended in a near perfect shave. A splash of Myrsol Limon and I am off to work. I hope everyone has a great day.

Actually, I meant it more of a compliment than anything. You have a stunning array of gear, and it's all labelled and arranged nicely. :happy088:

Thank you very much, sir! It's been fun, and the fun doesn't have to stop. Just time to shake it up for a little bit.

Thank you, Jason! I still won't be able to spend as much time in here as I'd like, however I do like to (attempt) keeping up.
Good eye. The soap labelled "Soap" is Grooming Dept. It's a vegan based soap - which performs like a champ. Every bit as slick and protective as a tallow-based soap. The scent, which I'd be unable to accurately describe, is a fairly mild clean scent. Not the same as MWF though. There's more to it than just a "soap scent". I think he classifies it as a fougere, which seems to be a broad spectrum term. It's pleasant enough, but not overly exciting. For those who want a soap that is mild in scent, it's a nice choice. Naturally, it's sold out. But, man! The post shave is off the chart wonderful.
  20. Happy Birthday, Perry!! :greet002:
    Fantastic photo and shave, too!
